Prep/Paint Technician (Second Shift)

About Us:
Entech Staffing is seeking 2nd Shift Prep/Paint Technicians for a trucking company in Flint, MI. The Prep/Paint Techs need experience to prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, ensuring high-quality finishes. This is a full-time, contract position with the opportunity to go direct based on attendance, attitude, job performance, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for paint according to established standards

• Fill and sand body imperfections as needed

• Mask and protect vehicle surfaces to ensure clean paint application

• Pre-fit and drill bumpers, ladder racks, and other components as necessary

• Assist with other duties as needed to support the painting and preparation process

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Must pass a drug test and criminal background check

• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds

• Previous experience prepping metal surfaces for painting is required

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
