Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Panel Builder to join our team. As a Panel Builder, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and repairing electrical wiring harnesses for various applications. Your work will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of complex systems.

Responsibilities:

• Assembly:

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions

  • Cut, strip, and crimp wires according to specifications

  • Assemble wiring harnesses using various hand tools and equipment

  • Install connectors, terminals, and other components onto wires and harnesses

• Testing:

  • Perform continuity tests, voltage checks, and other electrical tests to verify proper functionality

  • Troubleshoot and identify issues with faulty wiring or components

  • Document test results and repair procedures

• Repair:

  • Diagnose and repair damaged or malfunctioning wiring harnesses

  • Replace faulty components and reassemble harnesses

  • Perform quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in wire harness assembly, testing, or repair is preferred

• Technical Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

• Hand-Eye Coordination: Ability to work with small components and perform precise tasks

• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and identify solutions to technical issues

• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks

LOCATION: Troy, MI

PAY RATE: $19/HR.

HOURS: 5:30AM-2PM
