Dimensional Engineer

Entech Staffing is looking for a Dimensional Engineer.

The position starts in Sterling Heights and in March will be working in Arlington, TX.

Pay Rate: $41.00/hr

Shift: Starts at 6:00am

Job Description

The Dimensional Engineer is responsible for identifying and resolving quality issues within assigned assembly systems. This role requires a proactive approach to data analysis, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: Proactively review data from measurement and validation systems (in-station, downstream, and end-of-line).

• Issue Resolution: Collaborate with quality teams to identify and address quality issues, developing and implementing corrective action plans.

• Statistical Analysis: Utilize statistical process control techniques to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

• Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analyses to determine the underlying reasons for quality issues.

• Project Management: Manage assigned projects, including planning, execution, and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• Prefers GM experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in dimensional engineering or quality assurance

• Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and problem-solving methodologies

• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to travel
