Q: How did you get involved with Entech?

I’ve been with you guys for a couple of decades. I started in factory work. Some jobs were permanent, others temporary, but no matter what I always came back to you guys. All of your ladies are awesome, I love Entech. I have been at my current job at a music venue for 4 years. I love that place. The people I work with are my second family. There are so many beautiful sunny days. I’m not going anywhere. They aren’t letting me go, and I don’t want to go. I take pride in my job. I keep my area clean, I make sure that all of the women are happy. I dance with them, whatever it takes.

Q: You seem like a people person. Tell me about the people in your life outside of work.

I basically spend all of my time with my 7 grandkids. I have a daughter and a son, so I have a lot of grandkids. The youngest is almost a year, and the oldest is 21. That’s pretty much how I spend all of my time: with my grandkids and their dogs. I am a very extroverted person, so I love to be surrounded by people I love. I love taking my grandkids to the park, to events, garage sales. Anytime there is something fun going on, I take them.

Q: You are such a positive and happy person. What inspires that?

Well, we need more love in this world. I am content where I am in my life. My job is one big happy family. It just brings you back to your teenage years. No one starts trouble, everyone gets along, you just look out and see how wonderful and happy everyone is. It is a beautiful thing. It is my happy place.

Q: Tell me about one of your greatest memories at work.

I saved someone’s life over the summer. A girl had a seizure in the bathroom, and I had no experience dealing with that. She fell on top of me so I laid her down, put her on her side, tried to keep her calm, had one of the ladies shut the bathroom down, had someone get security and an ambulance. You wouldn’t believe what happens in this bathroom sometimes. Some of these women are no joke. I’ve seen it all. You have to deal with a lot of things there but you have to learn how to cope. I try to make a negative into a positive. Change people’s attitudes. Dance with them. If I’m in that bathroom dancing believe me, I’m gonna have every woman in there dancing too.
